"Using the EHS On-Line Requisition System, Pinnacle's desk top electronic user entry into the MM information system, is now used in almost every clinical and support department. From all of the 37 FMC's, (Family Medical Centers), to the ORs, to the Laundry, authorized users are able to directly enter purchase, and storeroom requisitions that are transmitted to vendors, computers (or the Pinnacle Distribution Center), often within minutes. That original transaction is then tracked through electronic confirmations, through Receiving and electronically matched to an invoice in Accounts Payable. Our largest vendor also invoices electronically."
